Both sides of the trade, properly
Export Side, End to End
Quotation → Proforma → Export Order → Commercial Invoice → Packing List → Certificate of Origin → Shipping Bill → Bill of Lading → BRC. Every document inherits the order's buyer, ports, incoterm and line items instead of being retyped.
Import Side, Equally Complete
Purchase Order → Bill of Lading → Bill of Entry → Customs Clearance → Goods Receipt → Vendor Bill. The BoE carries the real duty cascade — BCD, social welfare surcharge on BCD only, IGST and cess — and the goods receipt records short-landing rather than silently accepting the invoice quantity.
Landed Cost You Can Defend
A worksheet that takes FOB to true landed cost: duty, freight, insurance, port and clearing charges, transport. Duty capitalises into inventory while input IGST does not, so your stock value and your GST credit are both right.
One Stock Ledger for Both Flows
Imported goods receipt into the same perpetual inventory that exports draw from, at weighted-average cost. No separate import stock register to reconcile — the valuation report and the balance sheet always agree.
Both Money Clocks Tracked
A 270-day export realization clock against your commercial invoices and a 180-day import settlement clock against outward remittances, with overdue items flagged on one dashboard. Tracking and reminders — the reporting to your AD bank stays with your bank.
Design Your Own Item Table
Different buyers and suppliers want different columns. Pick which standard columns print, add your own (lot number, colour grade, block number) with per-line values, save the layout as a reusable format, and the on-screen table and the PDF stay identical.
Frequently asked questions
Can one system really handle both imports and exports?
That is the point of this one. Many tools cover the export document chain and treat imports as a bolt-on, so a trader doing both keeps two systems and reconciles stock and money by hand. In Eximly both chains write to the same products, the same perpetual stock ledger and the same double-entry books, so a container in and a container out are visible in the same reports.
Does it calculate customs duty automatically?
It does the cascade arithmetic correctly — BCD, social welfare surcharge computed on BCD only, IGST, compensation cess, and it keeps IGST out of the capitalised landed cost. The BCD rate itself is supplied by you or your CHA. We deliberately do not ship a duty schedule and pretend it is current, because a stale rate is worse than no rate.
How is this different from using Tally plus Word documents?
Tally holds the accounts but knows nothing about a shipping bill, a packing list or an export obligation; Word documents look right but never reconcile to the ledger. Eximly generates the trade documents and posts the accounting from the same record, and still exports to Tally if your CA wants it there.
What does the free trial include?
30 days, no credit card, full modules. Plans afterwards are per-persona — exporter, importer, both, manufacturer-exporter or domestic-only — so you pay for the side of the trade you actually run.
Is my data separated from other companies?
Yes. Every table is row-level-secured per company, two-factor authentication is mandatory, and sessions are time-boxed. A user of one company cannot read another's records even with a direct link.
