Freight procurement, without the email chaos

One RFQ to every forwarder

Raise a freight RFQ for any import or export lane: mode, ports, Incoterm, containers or weight and volume, dangerous goods, temperature, pickup and delivery, deadline and target rate. Start from scratch, a proforma invoice or an export order, and send it to all chosen forwarders and CHAs with the RFQ PDF attached.

Forwarders quote online

Each partner gets a personal link and submits their quote without creating an account: total or itemised charge by charge, transit time and validity. Revisions are logged, so you can see who changed what and when.

Compare charge by charge

All quotes side by side with Cheapest and Fastest marked, and a charge-by-charge breakdown that flags anything a forwarder did not quote. No more copying numbers from emails into Excel.

Bidding rounds and split awards

Open another round and, if you choose, show partners the best price so far. Award the whole lane to one forwarder or split it by share between several, then apply the agreed freight straight to the shipment.

Approval before you award

Route freight awards through an approval rule, so a manager signs off before a partner is confirmed. The forwarder then confirms the booking from the same link.

Rate cards and scorecards

Keep contracted lane rates with validity as the benchmark on every RFQ. Scorecards show each forwarder's response rate, win rate, average response time and average transit time, so next quarter's allocation is based on data, not memory.

One partner directory

Forwarders, CHAs or both, with the lanes, ports and commodities they handle, contacts and full quote history. Find the right partners for an RFQ in seconds.

Team Chat built in

Discuss quotes and awards with your logistics, finance and management team in one-to-one or group chats inside Eximly, share files, see who is online, and get an email if you miss a message.

Partner bills in your books

Record forwarder and CHA invoices and payments against each partner. They post to freight expense, GST input and payables automatically, so landed cost and the P&L reflect what you actually paid.

Frequently asked questions

Who is this for?

Importers and exporters who buy freight from several forwarders and CHAs, typically corporates and mid-size companies running dozens or hundreds of shipments a year. If your team sends the same RFQ to five forwarders by email and compares replies in Excel, this replaces that.

Do our forwarders need to sign up or pay?

No. Each forwarder gets a secure link for each RFQ and submits the quote in their browser, with no account. Online quoting is part of our paid plans; on the trial you can log the replies you receive by email.

Does it work for imports as well as exports?

Yes. An RFQ can be for any lane, sea or air, inbound or outbound, FCL, LCL or break-bulk, with door pickup and delivery if you need them.

Can we run a reverse auction?

You can run as many bidding rounds as you need and optionally show partners the best price so far. A live, timed reverse auction with real-time ranking is not part of the product today.

Can it connect to our ERP?

Eximly runs your trade operations and accounts on its own, and exports to Tally. A connection to SAP or another ERP is scoped as a separate project; talk to us about your setup.

Is our data separate from other companies?

Yes. Every record is secured per company, two-factor login is mandatory, every change is audited, and enterprise plans can run on a dedicated database.

See it with your own lanes and forwarders.
